Metallic Pastry Week At Th' House O' Foam©

Here's a swell compilation hewn from the living rock face by legendary music curator and archivist Blank Frank. It's not up at his site [linked under Swell Guys in the sidebar- Ed], so I'm presenting it here, and giving it an uncharacteristically subtle cover featuring everybody's go-to limner of loneliness and urban despair, Edward Hopper. I also did something subtle as shit with the typography - see how it could read as we singles as well as U.S. Singles? We got metaphysical ambiguity out th' ass!

Thirty-five chart-bothering 45s, from Dallas to Babylon Sisters. So it's probably due an update, which sounds like work, so include me out. Single mixes used where available. Remember to say Gee! Thanks, Frank! when you spin this on th' treehouse Dansette.

More Danish Delights to follow, fight fans!

  3. 'Dallas' is great and deserved a better fate (that's poetry, that is). Bombed so hard that promos are easier to find than stock copies.

  4. Thanks! Loved Stinko aka the Dallas/Sail The Waterway #7 - which I had never heard before. It sounded familiar but don't think I've actually heard their hit FM before either. Steely Dan isn't really something you'd ever hear/heard on radio around Europe (at least not in the part where I'm living) and I only really know their 1972/1980-studioalbums.

  5. Yeah, nice to hear the original of "Dallas". Poco did a good cover of that song on their "Head Over Heels" album.
