Take A Trip On Wilf Brimley's Psychedelic Stairlift To - Bosstown!

In what will be a regular feature here on th' Isle O'Foam©, Wilf Brimley [Daytime T.V.'s loveable "Sergeant Uncle" - Ed.] will be taking us for a trip on his Psychedelic Stairlift! Today, to celebrate Boston Boy [are you sure about this? - Ed.] Joe Biden's sweepsteak win, it's destination Bosstown! Yes, the sleepy seaside burg had its own "sound" that rivaled the West Coast for far-out-ness!

"The Beacon Street Union was one happening band!" gushes Wilf. "Oboy! I get a contact high just from sniffing their album covers!"

Included in today's Bosstown Beanfeast are their first two albums (with a mono Eyes Of ... thrown in at no extra cost!) and their harder-to-look-for third album as Eagle, the acronymic Come Under Nancy's Tent!

When asked if being dead is any hindrance to his new FoamFeature™ appearances, Wilf chuckled "Makes no mind nor difference here on th' Isle O'Foam©! And anyhoo, nobody reads this garbage. They head straight for th' comments, th' bums!"

  1. To qualify for this Beantown Bonanza simply tell us your favorite daytime TV show!

  3. I think you're a little bit early to call Biden the winner, let us see what happens when the toddler has his next tantrum. I hope it doesn't end up in bloodshed.
My favorite daytime tv was Noggin the Nog (doubt it ever got shown in the USA) and like One Buck Guy I don't have time to watch tv in the daytime now, because of all the great tunes I listen to thanks to th' Isle O'Foam©. Is it to early to suggest Farq for President 2024?

  8. I really was into the Bosstown Sound in high school back in '68. It was safe psychedelia.

  9. That first image is terrific. "We'll build a stairlift to the stars..."

My early childhood TV favorites were Romper Room and Hodge Podge Lodge.

    1. It would mean looking them up on Discogs. You can do that. I'm guessing 67, 68, 69.
