Mission Statement: to do very little, for very few, for not very long. Disappointing the easily pleased since 1819. Not as good as it used to be from Day One. History is Bunk - PT Barnum. Artificially Intelligent before it was fashionable. Fat camp for the mind! Nothing lasts, but nothing is lost. The Shock of the Old! Often bettered, never imitated.

Wool Hat
Here's a swell comp put together by our pal Scotch. Nice way to remember a guy we're never really in danger of forgetting.
Looking forward to exploring this, having only recently started listening to his solo stuff. Didn't realise that there were monkee versions of several of his solo toons. I also need to explore The Monkees more, I only really know the hits.
To quote one of my English O Level texts from many years ago "Had I but world enough and time I'd get a chance to listen to all this bloody music before times winged cariot does me in" (I think thats how it went anyway)
I think we can genuinely describe Mr Nesmith as a Renaissance Man. Had he lived in the 30s he would be aptly attributted the appelation, a Pukka Sahib. His influence spread far & wide. Mt Belfast buddy named his daughter (born 1974) Dhelly in honour of Mr Nesmths "Some oF Shelly`s Blues". Im sure she grewup thankful that her dad`s favourite song wasnt Propinquity. Rev Baz Mania
Apologies for the spelling mistake, it should read Shelly. She would be called Dhelly if her father had been a Terry Alle n or Little Feat fan. Recalling notable spelling mistakes I rember the question poised in my history exam - Account for the increased copulation of the early 18th century. Rev Baz Mania
Uploading: Drag all the relevant mp3 files into a folder, name the folder, compress the folder, upload the single compressed zip/rar file. When downloading, you download one compressed file, which you then inflate to a folder with all the mp3 files in it.

Cariot???? Please accept my apologies, Mr Marvell, and the rest of the quote was so accurate, what a shame.
DeleteWe all know it should be "carrot".
DeleteNo shame in your spelling game - Let's enjoy the music while we kan !

Stumbled upon these. Don't know if they're of interest to you Farqster, but I figured if someone is interested it might be you.
