Balderdash, you say? You have good reason - here's his (Rob McLerran's) solo album after he split with Boondoggle. The nicely-titled Ballad Of Shirley Goodness And Mercy [surely, Shirley? - Ed.]
launched itself into 1972 with a tickertape parade down 3rd Avenue (3rd
Avenue, Pickledish, VT.) It's a very swell album you can play today!
I'm pretty sure the duo's album from the previous year has been FoamFeatured antecedently, but it's here again, in case you missed it.
To claim your dustbowl duo of corn-fed country rock, simply answer the following question:
ReplyDeleteWho said - "when an opportunity to not be an asshole presents itself, seize upon it as you would a cold bottle of beer on a hot day" ?
Kilgore Trout
DeleteYes! Was this a guess! It's a fantastic one. But no, not he.
DeleteCharles Barkley?
DeleteSo close I'm tempted to give you the points! If you'd have said Gnarls Barkley, however ... that would be wrong, too.

Has anyone here actually tried Billy Beer? I think I want one right now.
DeleteTried it. Trust me, you do not want one.
DeleteWilliam Claude Dukenfield?
ReplyDeleteNor he.
Delete(This is a very swell album - worth having a guess for, even if you don't know)
I'd rather be fully krausened on some Old Style.
ReplyDeleteWe shall reach greater and greater platitudes of achievment.
ReplyDeleteRichard J. Daley
I'm going with Richie M Daley
A fine answer. A credit to you and the loins from which you sprung. Wrong, too.
DeleteMoe Szyslak?

ReplyDeleteThank you very much. Contributions always welcome.
DeleteO.K., here's one:
DeleteAs for "when an opportunity to not be..."
In that still-axx-yet-unsolved quote thingie du jour, is the "(euphemism)" in there referring to a French person?
Oh, yeah, I know, mutual respect/"no haters!" zone, live and let vive, blah-blah-blah lives matter, etcetera.
(I really DO need to TURN OFF THE NEWS...)
The answer to the question is: me. I said it. Right up there in the first comment.
DeleteGracias for the Link-n-franker. Goes good with a dollop of mustard (Just make sure it's NOT French's!!!).
