Get Off My Lawn! Dept. - Damn Hippies

Cat Mother And The All Night Newsboys were a rare thing - a rural band out of New York. Known best for their first album association with Jimi Hendrix, they made a bunch of good albums and had a bunch of good times and that's a bunch of good enough for us. Jimi's friendship came at a cost - his evil manager Mike Jeffrey muscling in on the act. They did the smart thing - broke up and hightailed it for the hills, reforming out of his thieving grasp.

(Hey - did you pick up the Donnie Fritts album Prone To Lean posted antecedently? That has one of my favorite lyric lines of all time - "good for nothin' is good enough for me.")

  1. Even if you have this stuff already, you should get it again.

To qualify for that eye-watering Stealth Link, simply say in five words or less why BLATZ BEER was Milwaukee's favorite premium beer!

    1. I worked on the My Little Pony account once. We came up with a concept for the My Little Pony Glue Factory that we decided not to present.

  5. "I'm from Milwaukee, and I ought to know! It's Draft Brewed Blatz beer, wherever you go. Smoother, fresher, less filling, that's clear. Blatz is Milwaukee's finest beer!"

  6. 'Smoother, fresher, less filling' says W...p...a. Does that count as cheating?

  7. I drank it in college.

    1. I like this answer best.

"BLATZ BEER was Milwaukee's favorite premium beer because I drank it in college!"

  8. Blatz. Because its what Milwaukee deserves, not what they want.

  9. Damn parner...you'll forgive the familiarity, but we're amigo's at this point. When you said stealth - you ain't kidding. The Miss' and I are sitting there looking at the dang page, trying this lens and that lens, and we ain't seeing nothing. Half hour later, the DMT kicks in, which is about normal in these parts...and we're grooving to a buncha' cats. Or skinwalkers. Never can tell.

    Thank you as always,

Billy Gates of the Double X' ranch.
