Vintage legacy Foam-O-Graph© - author's own collection |
Older readers [running joke - Ed.] may remember, in brief flashes of heartbreaking lucidity, iconic IoF© icon Randy Randomguy's Randomness features, wherein he solicits your top five random shuffle play picks! Well, in the absence of a New Dylan to talk about, here he is again! How to play? Simply set your playback device of choice to shuffle and list the first five tunes it picks! Oboy! Swell fun, huh, gang!
WARNING: random choice reveals inner personality conflicts, search history, meds usage. Participation authorises contact from third parties to whom your data has been sold.
Her's my personal embarrassment o' riches!
ReplyDeleteBaby You're A Rich Man - Beetles (from swell Hello Goodbye album!)
Crosswinds - Billy Cobham (note to self - play in full, soonest!)
Flight O' Th' Rat - Deep Purple (In Rock)
Do You Know How It Feels - Burritos (Gilded Palace)
So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright - Simon & His Garfunkels (BOTW Reshuffled)
Remember, friends, if your understanding of "shuffle" is doing a toilet dash in your slippers, simply list the first five songs what come into your noggin! Or four!
(FT3 is at his desk, so comments show immediately)

ReplyDeleteThings are starting to heat up at the ol' ranch weather wise, so my mp3 holding machine (not a Zuni - never could figure out why that never took) decided to maybe play some cool down tunes, only to get peppy at the end. The missis and I watch the night sky and keep an eye out for any of them spaceship jellyfish. You know the horse eating kind. Eat all the cattle you want you sky whale I have no complaint, I don't ride a steer into town. I know it looks like fun, but it's a pain trust me. Just don't be eating Sugarhoof, she's like family.

I had Replicas back in the day - too much Trout Mask and yet not enough. Interesting, though but.
DeleteIn a way it's a Trout Mask Replication. I like it since it's High Tide and Arthur Brown adjacent, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the vocals were removed by someone when it finally got issued. If you listen on headphones you can kinda' make out someone singing.
