  5. @joe...
First somebody has to want the album enough to step forward and say so...
then, the 'stealth' link will be hidden in a comment by the host. It might look like a letter of text, a number, a emoji, or a piece of punctuation...
    Or, so they say!
I haven't got a clue as to the identity of said album...
So, I don't know if I want it!

  7. Yes, you guessed it, subscribers! It's Kev Smith's Now Sounds playing their own very special "Disco Tribute To Nilsson"!

It's available by clicking a Stealth Link© in this here comment. I've also included a just-legible scan of the back cover, because the sleeve notes are well worth reading.

  8. I think it's time to set my sights on the next Nussbaum YentaCON!
I'm feeling left out. Are there any laws against interstate Cheez Whiz trafficking?

  9. Apart from looking very English (guy on the left, especially), I had no clue. On the YentaCon front, that's an aspect of long life I hadn't appreciated till now. As the saying goes, if I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd haver taken better care of myself!

    2. It's actually the Seventh Son's 1968 ESP album "Raga (4am at Frank's)" which is very obscure for a reason. The reason being that what sounds good to you and your zoned-out pals at four in the morining may not have the same effect pressed up as a consumer product. Buzzy Linhart's on it. I haven't managed to sit through it all yet. I guess you had to be there. Actually, I think I was - but nobody recorded it, luckily.

    3. The LP splits at a really bad place but the CS is all one performance. I rather like it. Also because it was actually recorded around 1964 or something...

    4. Oh, it's forgiveable, and definitely a product of its time (which wasn't '68, as you say, when beatnik excursions like this were, like. yesterdayville). I like the idea of it better than the recording itself. And I love the sleevenotes promising great things ahead for the combo, with all those new songs they're working on.
