| Watch out, cheap-ass sleeve designers! Pammie's got YOU in her sights! |
You'll know TV's Pam Anderson from her iconic role as Corabeth Godsey in long-running NBC series Best Little Whorehouse On The Prairie, but did you know she's a keen collector of sixties psychedelia and garage music?

| Tommy Lee Godsey, yestiddy! |
Pammie jet-skied over to th' IoF© yestiddy to wax passionate anent her pet gripe; bootleg-quality sleeves for otherwise notable re-issues! We relaxed poolside whilst Kreemé [left - couldn't source Kreemé pic - will this do? - Ed.] served her signature bin-water and crocodile smegma smoothies!
FT3 Heyyyy! Pammie baby! Long time no see!
PA Too long, Farq! [sighs yearningly]
FT3 You must put me behind you, sweetpants!
PA That was always my favorite position [flutters eyelashes seductively]
FT3 So what's got your dander up this time, Pamster?
PA Ooh! Well, Farq, it's this here archival release of famed Bay Area psych-punk pioneers The Oxford Circles! Take a hinge at this cheap-ass sleeve design! [left - Ed.]
FT3 Yikes! My eyes hurt!
PA I mean, this is like, an important group, featuring members of the Blue Cheers and the Kaks! It's a top-quality historic live recording, plus their rare single as a bonus! You'd of thunk they'd of did better than this asswipe piece a shit bootleg shit!
FT3 Why, it's a disgrace!
PA [suggestively] So I have a favor to ax, Farq ...
FT3 Which I just had me lunch, Pamsie. Egg n' onion semmitch. It's not sittin' right [eases up butt cheek hopefully].
PA Could you just whip out your ... crayons and do me a nice sleeve design?
FT3 [chuckles modestly] Why, I'd be delighted! You just go relax with Kreemé in the hot tub, and I'll be done in a hour or so! Nuthin' I like more than a sleeve job!
PA Just like old times!

This post posted in a transparent attempt to get more page views for a swell deliverable! Incidentally, this is one of my funnier pieces. Go ahead, yok it up, ya cheap ingrate. I'm giving this stuff away! Why, you lousy bums, for two cents I'd ... I'd ...

Who's the hottest TV star like, ever?
ReplyDeleteVotes for Muffin The Mule will be discounted.
DeleteCripes Farq, ostracized . . . oh the unfairness. My mental health will descend into a black hole. Oh well - looking at Pammie with her pistol in priapic deployment, one small move and a dislodgement of her garment there will be a right nipple poking an eye out. She i certainly well appointed doncha think. Things have move on apace since Annette Mills was on the small screen.
DeleteThe Man From Mordor garners 3.7 FoamPoints™ for his use of "apace".
DeletePonch & Jon!
ReplyDeleteSofia Helin as Saga Noren in "The Bridge" "We will have sex but no kissing"
ReplyDeleteDiana Rigg/Emma Peel
ReplyDeleteThat was gonna be vote!!!
DeletePammie is right about cheap-ass record sleeves, I used to search the second-hand record shops in the early 80’s, looking to spend my new earned wealth from having left school and got a job. Quite often I would buy an album on the strength of a good sleeve, which explains why I purchased Brain Salad Surgery by ELP and the first three Pink Fairies albums early on, yet was ignorant of Pet Sounds.
ReplyDeleteI’ll get back to you on who's the hottest TV star like, ever.
Literally!
DeleteI’ve been thinking very hard about who's the hottest TV star like, ever, and going back to my younger years I remember having ‘funny feelings’ about Felicity Kendal in BBC TV series The Good Life, but even before that Gabrielle Drake (and some of the other women) in Gerry Andersons UFO had a similar effect on me - see photo link below.

Phwoar! I believe is an inappropriate word nowadays, so if you are susceptible to that sort of language I suggest not clicking on the link (above).
Any Americans reading this, what’s the US equivalent to ‘Phwoar’ please?
Dolores Montez in UFO does it for me.
DeleteI think the Yanks turn into cartoon wolves and start howling and whistling.
Lassie, we will have no sex, but will kiss
ReplyDeleteSara Martins as Camille Bordey/Fleur (in Pigalle, la nuit)
and I can't think of a toy boy that would fit the bill, maybe The Fonz
Barbara Bain as Cinnamon Mission: Impossible

Alexandra Bastedo in The Champions - phwoar!!!!
DeleteBarbara as Dr Russell in Space 1999 still stirs something in me. And it's not the pan of soup I had the other night.
DeleteOh yes, missus, I'll second Alexandra Bastedo in The Champions. Twang!
DeleteVelma
ReplyDeleteNOT the four-eyed geeky tomboy girl whose reliably regular specs' loss invariably meant her banging into the "monster"? That other bird was lush. Lucky old Fred - unless that scarf he wore was a disavowal of interest.
DeleteThat's just Mr Grimsdale's puckish sense of fun. At least I hope it is. Velma's a dyke.

'Jana Of The Jungle' was a Hanna-Barbera female Tarzan cartoon that ran over here circa 1978-79 IIRC. She was drawn very sexy in a sexy big-cat-print outfit. "That Jana of the Jungle's fit" Gaz Howard exclaimed at school one day, prompting Geoff Hughes to catch it next time, only to report his contempt and disappointment loudly in class the next day - "It's a fucking drawing, Gaz!"
You missed out Thora Hurd.
DeleteHmmmm...Elizabeth Montgomery, Pam Dawber, some of those nurses on M*A*S*H
ReplyDeleteWe weren't really meant to like Hotlips, but some of those nurses raised my temperature.
DeleteSuzanne Pleshette - "The Bob Newhart Show" - 1972 to 1978 and the 1990 series finale of "Newhart", where she made a surprise appearance as Emily Hartley, Bob Newhart’s wife from The Bob Newhart Show in what many say is the best TV series finale ending ever.

FT3 - you already named my #1 - Ms. Rigg in "The Avengers".
Regarding Bambi's query - I would say "Hubba Hubba" - although I think of it being VERY dated - maybe going back to vaudeville days - so - I expect very few people today would have even heard it before or know what it means.

Honey West - Anne Francis! I couldn't wait to see her on late night show. I was only 12 or 13 years old!
ReplyDeleteCan't argue with Diana Rigg's Emma Peel . . . but I'll proffer Agnes Moorehead. --Muzak McM.
ReplyDeleteJulie Newmar as Cat Woman, please.
