  2. Wasn't it 1975, thus 51 years? Doesn't matter, a bit of a fib works wonders for posting

  3. Sometime in the 80's I bought an expensive US import of this album, I was a little disappointed, however now with this extended version maybe I can curate a suitable update, thank you.

  4. Thanx mucho for the click! As much as I like Zappa, most of the Captain's stuff is not on the same plane, IMO.

  5. Two super talented fellas who manage the rare feat of being simultaneously underrated and overrated...Much like the rest of youse, I imagine they coulda given approximately zero flying fucks what I think. Fair enough. Goodnight Austin, Texas, wherever you are.

  6. I didn't buy this at the time - it always seemed a dull album to me (the butt ugly cover had its effect), but I'll give it a whirl. The Zappa/Beefheart performing combo worked on Willie The Pimp, but that was in the context of one of the greatest albums of all time, which this ain't.

  7. My old extended/deluxe/whatever version has The Torture Never Stops (original version) as an extra track - it's not on this multi-disc set. I'm, like, WTAF?

  8. Just finished listening to the first night's show & I'm way more impressed than I thought I'd be...Great soloing & Beefheart is not too annoying!

If your comment doesn't immediately appear, it means Kreemé is checking the handwriting before passing it on to me. I'm a busy man and have no time to decipher crayoned scrawls.
