My trusty iMac, operating faultlessly and continuously for over fourteen years in extreme weather conditions, seems to be rather broken (yes, I've tried that, and a few others). So until I can get it fixed service may be reduced, in particular re-ups. There's a great guy in Bangkok I'm shipping it out to - nobody out here on the perimeter knows what a Mac is. Or does. I'm a little concerned that my iTunes library may be lost (I have partial backups), but the good news would be losing the hours of preparatory work I put in for the Thirty Minutes With The Avant Garde initiative. It would be nice to have that monkey off my back.
Using a dusted-off MacBook which miraculously came to life!
