Mission Statement: to do very little, for very few, for not very long. Disappointing the easily pleased since 1819. Not as good as it used to be from Day One. History is Bunk - PT Barnum. Artificially Intelligent before it was fashionable. Fat camp for the mind! Nothing lasts, but nothing is lost. The Shock of the Old! Often bettered, never imitated.
You're welcome. "After his conversion to Christianity the artist devoted a great deal of his work to religious themes. The image of the Reaper came from Rick's visual interpretation of scripture after reading Revelations." His original and unique vision was tamed by Christianity to produce hackneyed illustrations to bible stories. Another great San Francisco underground artist went the same route: R. Crumb's biblical illustrations are quite as awful as Griffin's. In art, as elsewhere, to thine own self be true.
I've always thought that the cover for Wake Of The Flood was weak, and tried many times to come up with a replacement, always failing. But it struck me that it's the typography that's crippling an otherwise beautiful piece of artwork, so using the argon-cooled mainframe computer here on th' IoF©, I stripped it out and replaced it with a font/logo with a traditional Dead look. I also hunted deep into the dark web to find a good reproduction of the original, with an accurate color cast. Note brushwork in dark background, invisible in most reproductions. Note harmonious integration of logo.

Cool cover upgrade, Thanks.
